Born in Taiwan, Allison Wang moved to the U.S in 2007. She has been playing piano since the age of five. 

As a professional and upcoming pianist, she has won numerous awards and honors including: Silver Prize Winners of Paris Music Competition 2019, 1st Prize Winners of American Protege International Competition 2018, chosen participant for Gilmore Keyboard Festival 2018, first prize winner of Cremona International Music Academy String & Piano Competition, winner of the 2017 American Opera Society of Chicago Scholarship, winner of the 2016 Jerome and Elaine Nerenberg Foundation Scholarships. Allison has performed internationally including Weill Recital Hall-Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall, Opera America- Scorca Hall, Chicago Cultural Center- Preston Bradley Hall, Ganz Hall, the Stradivari Museum- Giovanni Arvedi Auditorium, Priestereminar in Graz, and she travels back to Taiwan regularly and gives community performances. As a collaborative pianist, she is co-founder of the W. 4th Duo and Bowery Piano Trio, participated in 2019 AIMS intensive summer program in Graz, Austria, and has also played in Masterclasses for Martin Katz, Barbara Bonney, Ulrich Eisenlohr, Bo Skovhus, and Wonkak Kim. 

Allison is passionate as a soloist, educator, collaborator. She seeks out opportunities to collaborate with different artists internationally, and also shows the beauty of music through performance playing repertoire in all types of setting. As a certified music educator, she loves to share her passion for music to the general public, art enthusiasts, young musicians and professional musicians. She strives to educate people about art culture, and advocates for the importance of music education in all level of schools through her passion and expertise on the subject. She has had extended training and experience in music education, and have taught students of various levels.

Allison has studied with Inesa Sinkevych, Ludmila Lazar, Yi-Fang Chiang, and Judith Jaimes. She received her Bachelor Degrees in Piano Performance and Music Education at Roosevelt University- Chicago College of Performing Arts, and her Master Degree in Piano Performance at Manhattan School of Music

出生於台灣,並於2007年移居美國。自五歲開始學習鋼琴。 

作為一名專業的鋼琴家,她獲得無數的獎項和榮譽,包括:2019年 Paris Music Competition 銀座獎項、2019年贏得Creative Classical Concert Management 新生選拔、2018年American Protege International Competition第一名、2018年Gilmore Keyboard Festival 選拔參加大師課、2017年Cremona International Music Academy String & Piano Competition第一名、2017年贏得芝加哥美國歌劇協會獎學金、2016年Jerome and Elaine Nerenberg 基金會獎學金獲得者,以及2013年至2017年的Falkenau音樂獎學金獲得者。 

除了前往世界各地演出,包括Weill Recital Hall-Carnegie Hall、Merkin Hall、Opera America- Scorca Hall、芝加哥文化中心 –  Preston Bradley Hall,與Stradivari Museum- Giovanni Arvedi Auditorium,王霈宇也定期回台灣並進行演出。 

霈宇熱衷於教育、演出和伴奏,因此積極地與不同的國際藝術家合作,並藉由在各類場合演奏曲目以展示音樂之美。身為一名正式合格的音樂教育家,她喜歡向公眾、藝術愛好者、年輕音樂家和專業音樂家分享她對音樂的熱情。此外,更致力於推廣藝術文化,並透過對該領域的熱情和專業知識,倡導各級學校音樂教育的重要性。她在音樂教育方面有過豐富的培訓和經驗,並教過不同層次的學生。 

霈宇曾師事Inesa Sinkevych、Ludmila Lazar、范姜毅 和 Judith Jaimes,並在羅斯福大學 – 芝加哥表演藝術學院獲得鋼琴表演和音樂教育學士學位、以及在曼哈頓音樂學院獲得鋼琴演奏碩士學位。
